Polishing/Angle Disc Brush EPM E-561-4100 100 mm (ZN)
EPM E-561-4100 is a 100 mm disc-shaped angle brush with zinc-coated wire construction designed for surface cleaning, rust and paint removal, deburring and preparing metal surfaces. The compact disc format fits angle grinders and rotary tools that accept 100 mm disc brushes and delivers aggressive mechanical brushing action appropriate for industrial maintenance and workshop metal-preparation tasks.
The zinc-coated wire offers enhanced resistance to corrosion compared with bare wire, extending brush life during intermittent exposure to moisture. The disc shape provides uniform contact across flat and slightly contoured surfaces, enabling consistent material removal and surface conditioning. Built for use on standard 100 mm mounting interfaces, the brush balances aggressive cleaning performance with controllable operation when used at recommended speeds.
Mount the disc brush securely on an angle grinder or rotary tool that supports 100 mm disc accessories, following the tool manufacturer’s instructions for safe mounting and wheel guarding. Operate the tool at the speeds recommended for wire brushes and apply steady, even pressure; avoid excessive force that could bend wires or overload the motor. Move the brush across the work surface with controlled, overlapping passes to achieve uniform results. Allow the brush to do the work—do not force rapid removal that may damage the workpiece or shorten brush life. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, gloves, and respiratory protection when removing rust or paint.
Use the brush for medium to heavy-scale cleaning tasks on ferrous metals; for delicate surfaces or fine finishes, test on a small area first or select a finer brushing tool. Regularly inspect the wire condition and replace the brush when significant wire loss or deformation is observed to maintain safe and effective performance.
