Insulated Ferrule EPM 1.5 mm — pack of 10 pieces
Insulated Ferrule EPM 1.5 mm — pack of 10 pieces
Insulated Ferrule EPM 1.5 mm — pack of 10 pieces provides a simple, standard solution for terminating stranded conductors with a nominal cross-section of 1.5 mm². The set contains ten insulated ferrules designed to be crimped onto stripped wire ends to prevent strand fraying, improve mechanical stability and ensure reliable electrical contact in terminal blocks, connectors and junctions used in electrical panels, machinery and household wiring.
The insulated ferrules are manufactured to provide consistent barrel dimensions for uniform crimp quality and to reduce the risk of loose or intermittent connections. The insulation sleeve covers the conductor entry point to protect against accidental shorting and to simplify insertion into terminals. Supplied in a convenient pack of ten, these ferrules are suitable for small installations, maintenance tasks and repair operations.
Strip the conductor to the length appropriate for the ferrule barrel, insert the stranded conductor into the ferrule until the insulation sleeve meets the wire jacket, and use a compatible crimping tool to compress the barrel evenly. After crimping, inspect the connection for secure mechanical retention and proper contact. Insert the ferrule-terminated conductor into the terminal block and fasten the terminal screw to the recommended torque for the terminal type.
Use a correctly sized crimping tool to achieve a reliable, low-resistance connection; avoid using pliers or hammering methods. Verify compatibility with the terminal block and follow local electrical codes and torque specifications during installation. Store ferrules in a dry environment to prevent contamination prior to use.
