Crimp Ferrule Double Insulated 2×2.5 mm EPM E-652-0049, pack 10
Crimp Ferrule Double Insulated 2×2.5 mm EPM E-652-0049, pack 10
Double insulated crimp ferrules EPM E-652-0049, pack of 10, are designed to provide reliable insulated terminations for two conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² each (2×2.5 mm). These ferrules combine a metal tube for secure crimping with a double insulation sleeve that protects the conductor ends and improves handling during assembly. They are intended for use in electrical wiring, panel assemblies and control cabinets where neat, vibration-resistant and durable connections are required.
These double insulated crimp ferrules reduce conductor fraying and provide consistent contact area for dependable electrical connections. The integrated double insulation sleeve offers additional mechanical protection and electrical isolation at the termination point. Supplied in a compact pack of 10, the ferrules are suitable for repetitive wiring tasks and small installation jobs, facilitating faster, cleaner and safer crimping compared to bare conductor terminations.
Strip the insulation from each conductor to the appropriate length recommended for ferrule insertion. Insert both conductors fully into the metal tube portion of the ferrule so that the conductor strands are contained within the crimp barrel. Use a suitable insulated ferrule crimping tool sized for 2.5 mm² ferrules to apply a firm, even crimp. After crimping, inspect the termination to ensure the sleeve covers the conductor insulation and that the crimp is secure and free of loose strands.
For reliable results, match the ferrule size to the conductor cross-section, use a calibrated crimping tool designed for insulated double ferrules, and follow applicable electrical installation standards. Store the ferrules in a dry environment and handle crimps with appropriate personal protective equipment during installation.
