The Epson UltraChrome PRO 12 T44Q940 Light Gray ink cartridge is an original, water-based pigment ink formulation developed from Epson's K3 and HDR technologies for professional and commercial print production. It expands the colour gamut and improves colour accuracy and archival image stability. The formulation dries quickly to produce prints that resist water and scratches, and includes Vivid Magenta plus Light and Dark Grey to improve neutral greys, reduce bronzing and minimise colour casts. The Pro formulation also uses improved Matte and Photo Black inks for higher Dmax and wider tonal range in both black-and-white and colour images; a revised Yellow offers improved UV resistance, and the optional Violet ink increases Pantone coverage up to approximately 99%.
