Door/Window Sensor Homematic IP HmIP-SWDM

Window and door contact from Homematic IP detects opening and closing events and reports them to the Homematic IP app. In addition to basic detection, the contact can trigger a connected Homematic IP Alarm Siren (for example HmIP-ASIR-2) to emit a loud alarm when a window or door is opened. When paired with Homematic IP Radiator Thermostats, the system reduces the room temperature automatically during ventilation to avoid energy waste and restores the user-defined comfort temperature after the window is closed. The device supports stand‑alone pairing with up to eight HmIP-eTRV-B thermostats and can be integrated with an Access Point for configuration and status display via the Homematic IP smartphone app. Mounting materials for screw or adhesive installation are included; adhesive strips can be removed without leaving residue, making the contact suitable for rented properties.
