Insulated ferrule Ergom HI 2x10/14 ivory, 100 pcs (E08KH-02020102601)
Insulated ferrule Ergom HI 2x10/14 in ivory is a pack of 100 tubular ferrules intended for termination of multi-strand conductors. The insulated sleeve ensures mechanical protection of the conductor end and helps maintain correct insertion into screw terminals. These ferrules are designed to provide consistent crimping quality, improved contact surface and reduced risk of strand fraying in electrical panels, control cabinets and industrial wiring applications.
The Ergom HI ferrules combine a uniform tubular copper crimp section with an insulating sleeve to deliver reliable electrical contact and mechanical strain relief. Their consistent dimensions enable repeatable crimp quality with manual or hydraulic crimping tools. The ivory insulation offers visual identification while preventing short circuits and protecting against corrosion at the termination point.
Strip the conductor insulation to the appropriate length, insert the strands fully into the ferrule tube, and position the insulated sleeve against the cable insulation. Use a properly sized crimping tool and die suitable for 2 x 10–14 mm² ferrules to compress the tube uniformly. After crimping, verify a secure mechanical hold and correct electrical continuity before fitting the terminated conductor into the terminal and tightening the screw to the manufacturer’s torque specification.
Choose a crimping tool and die that match the ferrule cross-section to achieve consistent crimps. Verify compatibility with the terminal type and tightening torque to avoid conductor damage or loose connections. Store ferrules in a dry environment to maintain insulation condition and prevent contamination.
