Ergom KM 95/12 copper ring terminal is a mechanical termination designed to connect 95 mm² conductors to M12 threaded studs or bolts. Manufactured from copper, the terminal provides a low-resistance electrical path and is intended for bolted connections in industrial, automotive and power distribution systems where a durable, conductive lug is required.
The copper construction offers high electrical conductivity and good corrosion resistance, ensuring stable performance in power and grounding circuits. The ring shape secures the conductor under a bolt or stud for a reliable mechanical and electrical connection. The terminal is shaped to accept 95 mm² cable cross-sections and an M12 fastening, simplifying installation in standard bolted terminations.
This terminal is designed specifically for 95 mm² conductors and M12 fastenings; it is not suitable for smaller or larger conductor cross-sections without an appropriate adaptor or different size terminal. It is also intended for bolted mechanical terminations and not for crimpless or insulation-only connections.
Strip the cable to the recommended insulation removal length for a 95 mm² conductor, insert the conductor fully into the barrel of the ring terminal and apply the appropriate crimping tool or soldering method if specified by installation practice. Position the ring over the M12 stud or bolt, add any required flat or lock washers, and tighten the fastener to the torque recommended for the stud and conductor size to ensure a secure electrical and mechanical joint. Inspect the connection for full conductor insertion and absence of loose strands.
Use appropriate crimping tools or soldering according to installer standards, apply anti-corrosion treatment where required, and follow torque specifications for M12 fastenings to maintain a low-resistance, long-term connection.
