Ring terminal Erko KOE M12 x 35 mm insulated copper, pack 50 pcs
Erko KOE M12 x 35 mm insulated copper ring terminals, pack of 50 pieces, are crimp-type connectors designed to form reliable bolted connections on M12 studs. The terminals have an insulated sleeve to protect against accidental shorting and a copper conductor barrel to ensure stable electrical contact. Each terminal is sized for a 35 mm conductor/insulation length as indicated in the product name and is intended for use in wiring, control panels, automotive grounding and many industrial installations where ring-style terminations are required.
Insulated copper construction combines corrosion resistance and good electrical conductivity while the insulation reduces the risk of short circuits and provides mechanical strain relief. The ring shape ensures a secure bolted connection to threaded studs or posts and the crimp barrel is suitable for tool-based compression to provide consistent, low-resistance joints. Pack quantities of 50 make the product convenient for larger wiring jobs, panel assembly and maintenance tasks.
These ring terminals are designed specifically for M12-sized studs and for cables compatible with the stated conductor/insulation length; they will not fit larger or smaller stud sizes without adapter hardware. They are intended for crimped terminations and may not be suitable where soldered joints, insulation-displacement connectors or screw-clamp terminations are required.
Strip the cable to expose the conductor to the length appropriate for the terminal barrel, then insert the conductor fully into the copper barrel. Use a suitable crimping tool matched to the terminal size to compress the barrel until a secure mechanical and electrical joint is achieved. Slide the insulated sleeve into position if it becomes displaced during crimping. Place the ring over the M12 stud or post, then secure with the appropriate nut and washer, ensuring proper torque per the application’s requirements.
Use a calibrated crimping tool appropriate for the terminal size to ensure low-resistance joints; apply proper torque to the stud connection and, where applicable, use washers or lock-washers to maintain mechanical integrity in vibrating environments. For outdoor or corrosive conditions consider additional sealing or protective measures.
