Erko KOP ring crimp terminals M6 × 2.5 mm, pack of 100, are crimp-on electrical terminals designed to form secure ring connections on M6 bolts or studs. Each terminal features a ring eye sized for M6 fastening and a 2.5 mm internal conductor barrel diameter to accept appropriately sized solid or stranded conductors. These terminals are intended for use where a bolted, low-resistance and mechanically stable electrical connection is required in installations, control cabinets, panels and machinery.
These Erko KOP ring crimp terminals provide a compact, repeatable method to terminate wires with a reliable mechanical and electrical joint. The ring eye ensures a secure bolted connection that resists vibration and loosening; the crimp barrel accepts 2.5 mm conductor cross-sections for consistent contact area when properly crimped. Supplied in a pack of 100, they are suitable for repetitive installation tasks and reduce time compared with loose soldered or wrapped terminations when used with a compatible crimping tool.
These crimp terminals are not suitable for applications that require insulation over the ring or an integrated insulating sleeve, as they are standard ring terminals without built-in insulation. They are also not intended for conductor sizes significantly larger or smaller than the specified 2.5 mm barrel diameter; using the incorrect conductor size can lead to poor electrical contact or mechanical failure.
Strip the conductor insulation to the appropriate length, insert the bare conductor into the 2.5 mm barrel until the strands reach the barrel end, and use a suitable single- or double-action crimping tool sized for the terminal to form a secure crimp. After crimping, place the ring over the M6 bolt or stud and fasten with the correct nut and washer to achieve a low-resistance bolted connection. Inspect each crimp visually and, where required, perform a pull test or continuity check to confirm mechanical and electrical integrity.
For reliable performance, use a crimping tool recommended for non-insulated ring terminals rated for the conductor size, confirm each crimp with a pull or electrical continuity test, and protect exposed connections from corrosion or shorting with appropriate washers, coatings or boot covers where environmental exposure is a concern.
