Ferrule terminal Erko TE 0.75 x 12 mm insulated, pack of 100
Ferrule terminal Erko TE 0.75 x 12 mm insulated, pack of 100
Erko insulated ferrule terminal TE 0.75 x 12 mm in a pack of 100 is a set of crimpable wire end sleeves designed for 0.75 mm² stranded conductors. Each ferrule features an insulated collar that supports reliable mechanical and electrical connection by preventing strand fraying and concentrating the conductor for insertion into terminals, connectors or circuit breakers. The 12 mm length of the metal sleeve provides sufficient bite area for common crimp tools while the insulation helps maintain spacing and prevents accidental shorting in confined assemblies.
These insulated ferrule terminals offer consistent crimp quality, improved contact reliability and easier insertion into screw or spring terminals. The insulation reduces the risk of stray strands causing shorts and provides a neat, uniform termination for repeated installation tasks. Supplied in a pack of 100, they support multiple terminations and minimize downtime when processing bundles of 0.75 mm² conductors.
This ferrule is designed specifically for 0.75 mm² conductors; it is not suitable for solid conductors or conductors of significantly different cross-sections. For larger or smaller conductor sizes, choose a ferrule matched to the conductor cross-section to ensure proper crimping force and electrical contact. It also does not replace insulated splices or connectors intended for different environmental or mechanical protection requirements.
Strip the conductor to the appropriate length so that the bare strands fully enter the 12 mm metal sleeve without exposing the insulation past the collar. Insert the stranded conductor into the ferrule until it seats against the insulated collar. Use a properly sized crimping tool or ferrule-specific crimper to apply a single, firm crimp at the recommended position on the metal sleeve. After crimping, check for secure mechanical retention and good electrical contact by a light pull test and visual inspection before inserting into the terminal block or connector.
For consistent results, use a dedicated ferrule crimping tool sized for 0.75 mm² ferrules, perform a pull test on sample terminations, and avoid reusing ferrules after initial crimping. Store the pack in a dry, dust-free environment to protect the insulation and ensure reliable terminations.
