Crimp Female Spade Connector Erko TS 6.3 mm for 6 mm² Wires, Pack of 100
Crimp Female Spade Connector Erko TS 6.3 mm for 6 mm² Wires, Pack of 100
Erko TS 6.3 mm female crimp spade connectors are uninsulated terminals designed for reliable mechanical and electrical connection to conductors with a 6 mm² cross-section. Supplied as a pack of 100 pieces, these spade terminals accept a 6.3 mm blade width and are intended for direct crimping onto copper conductors to form secure detachable connections for panel, automotive and industrial wiring.
These uninsulated female spade connectors provide a compact, low-resistance connection when correctly crimped, enabling repeatable mating and unmating with male blades. Their metal construction ensures good conductivity and mechanical strength, while the 6.3 mm blade width is a common standard that fits a wide range of male terminals. The pack quantity of 100 pieces offers economy for larger assemblies or routine maintenance tasks.
Because these spade connectors are uninsulated, they are not suitable where insulation or protection against short circuits and accidental contact is required. They are intended for use with conductors of approximately 6 mm² cross-section; using significantly smaller or larger conductors will result in poor crimp quality and unreliable electrical contact. For applications requiring sealed, insulated, or waterproof connections, choose appropriately rated insulated or sealed terminals instead.
Strip the conductor to the recommended length, insert the bare conductor fully into the barrel of the spade connector, and apply a suitable crimping tool matched to the terminal size to form a secure mechanical and electrical joint. After crimping, inspect the connection to ensure the conductor is firmly held and there is no exposed loose strand. Mate the crimped female spade with a matching 6.3 mm male blade until fully engaged. For repeated service, avoid excessive bending or movement of the cable at the crimped joint.
Use a dedicated crimping tool sized for 6 mm² terminals, check each crimp for mechanical retention and electrical continuity, and avoid using these uninsulated spades in environments where contact protection or sealing is required.
