USB 2.0 hub ESPERANZA EA114 — 4 ports, up to 480 Mbit/s, black
The ESPERANZA EA114 is a compact USB 2.0 hub that expands a single USB connection into four usable ports. Designed for basic peripheral and data-transfer tasks, it supports the USB 2.0 standard with transfer rates up to 480 Mbit/s. Its lightweight black casing and plug-and-play operation let you connect mice, keyboards, flash drives, printers and other USB devices without installing additional drivers, making it suitable for both home and office environments.
The hub offers four additional USB 2.0 ports in a small form factor, maintaining standard transfer speeds up to 480 Mbit/s per the USB 2.0 specification. No driver installation is required, enabling immediate use after connection to a host device. The black enclosure is portable and unobtrusive, allowing easy placement on a desk or in a bag for mobile use.
Connect the hub to an available USB port on your computer or compatible device using the attached cable. Once connected, the operating system should recognize the hub automatically without additional drivers. Plug your USB peripherals into the hub's available ports. For power-hungry devices, connect them one at a time or use a powered USB port on the host, as the hub is bus-powered and shares the host port's power budget.
Use the ESPERANZA EA114 for low- to moderate-power peripherals and data-transfer tasks. Avoid connecting multiple high-power devices (such as some external hard drives or optical drives) simultaneously without an external powered hub or a host port that supplies sufficient current. Keep the hub on a stable surface and ensure the host USB port supports USB 2.0 speeds for optimal performance.
