Household Battery Esperanza EZA106 AA Nickel-Metal Hydride NiMH
Household Battery Esperanza EZA106 AA Nickel-Metal Hydride NiMH
The Esperanza EZA106 AA Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable battery delivers consistent 1.2 V power for everyday household devices. Supplied in a blister pack of four AA cells, these high-capacity NiMH batteries are designed to offer stable output, reduced self-discharge and long usable life compared with single-use alkaline cells. Optimised cell construction preserves nominal capacity over time: after one year of storage the cells retain about 85% of their capacity. The EZA106 is suitable for repeated charging and is compatible with standard NiMH chargers.
These rechargeable AA batteries provide a high cycle life—approximately 1000 charge/discharge cycles—and a low memory effect, enabling frequent recharging without significant loss of capacity. A small self-discharge characteristic helps maintain usable charge during storage. Using NiMH chemistry reduces environmental waste versus disposable cells and can deliver long-term cost savings by replacing many single-use batteries. The cells are compatible with chargers intended for NiMH batteries.
Insert the AA NiMH cells into the device observing correct polarity. Charge the batteries using a charger designed for NiMH rechargeable cells, following the charger manufacturer’s instructions. Do not mix these rechargeable cells with non-rechargeable batteries in the same device. For best results, fully charge before first use and recharge when device performance declines. Store unused charged batteries in a cool, dry place.
To maximise lifespan and performance, use a smart charger with temperature or delta-V cut-off, avoid deep discharges when possible, and store batteries partially charged if left unused for long periods. Replace cells in multi-cell devices together to ensure balanced performance.
