The Esperanza EZA106 is a rechargeable AA (size AA) Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) household battery with a nominal voltage of 1.2 V, supplied in a 4-piece blister. It combines modern NiMH cell technology with characteristics of conventional alkaline cells to provide high capacity, reduced self-discharge and long service life suitable for a wide range of everyday devices.
Esperanza rechargeable batteries offer up to about 1000 charging cycles and are manufactured to minimise memory effect and self-discharge—retaining approximately 85% of nominal capacity after one year. They are environmentally preferable to single-use alkaline batteries (one rechargeable cell can replace roughly 1000 disposable cells) and reduce waste and long-term cost. These NiMH cells are compatible with standard chargers designed for NiMH rechargeable batteries.
Insert the AA Esperanza EZA106 batteries into the device observing correct polarity. Charge the batteries using any charger specified for NiMH rechargeable cells before first use and recharge as needed. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery chemistries in the same device. Follow the charger manufacturer’s instructions and recommended charging times.
Store batteries in a cool, dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures. If the batteries will not be used for extended periods, recharge them occasionally to maintain capacity. Dispose of or recycle batteries according to local regulations.
