Filament spool eSun ABSplus Red 1 kg, 1.75 mm, ABS+ material
eSun ABSplus Red 1 kg is a 1.75 mm filament spool designed for FDM/FFF 3D printing. Made from ABSplus material and supplied in red, this 1 kg roll is intended for prototyping and producing functional parts that require greater toughness and thermal resistance than typical PLA filaments. The material offers high impact resistance and reduced tendency to warp or crack during printing, while emitting low levels of volatile organic compounds and low odor.
ABSplus provides higher mechanical strength and heat resistance compared with standard PLA, making it suitable for load-bearing and mechanically stressed parts. The filament is formulated for low VOC content and low odor during extrusion, and its low shrinkage improves dimensional stability and reduces warping and cracking. The 1.75 mm diameter and 1 kg spool format are compatible with the majority of hobbyist and professional FDM printers.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into a compatible FDM/FFF printer following the printer manufacturer's filament loading procedure. Recommended print settings vary by machine and model: a heated bed and enclosed build chamber are advisable to reduce warping and improve layer adhesion. Adjust nozzle temperature and bed temperature according to your printer and part geometry; perform a test print to fine-tune extrusion multiplier and retraction to minimize stringing and ensure dimensional accuracy.
For best results, print ABSplus on a heated bed at an appropriate temperature and consider using an enclosure to maintain ambient temperature. Use adhesives or a proper build surface to improve first-layer adhesion. Allow parts to cool gradually to reduce internal stresses. Store the filament in a dry environment or sealed bag with desiccant to preserve filament quality.
