3D Printer Filament eSun PLA+ 1.75mm Pine Green 1kg
eSun PLA+ 1.75mm Pine Green 1kg is a PLA+ thermoplastic filament for FDM/FFF 3D printers, supplied on a 1 kg spool. The 1.75 mm diameter is compatible with a wide range of desktop printers and is intended to provide steady feeding and consistent extrusion. PLA+ formulation improves impact resistance and reduces brittleness compared with standard PLA while retaining ease of printing, making it suitable for visual prototypes, display models and everyday printed parts in a pine green color.
The PLA+ variant combines the printability of standard PLA with enhanced toughness and reduced tendency to snap, allowing for more durable prints without a major increase in printing difficulty. The 1.75 mm diameter is a common standard that provides reliable filament feeding and lower risk of jams on compatible extruders. The 1 kg spool size offers a balance between volume for several projects and manageable spool handling and storage.
This filament is not formulated for high-temperature applications or continuous outdoor exposure where UV and weathering resistance are critical. For parts requiring very high heat resistance, chemical resistance, or industrial-grade mechanical properties, alternative engineering filaments such as ABS, PETG, nylon or specialty materials may be more appropriate. Extremely fine-detail micro-printing or very large structural parts may require different material choices or printer setups.
Load the filament into a compatible 1.75 mm extruder following your printer manufacturer’s instructions. Set the hotend temperature consistent with PLA+ recommendations for your printer (start near standard PLA settings and adjust as needed for layer adhesion and surface finish). Use a heated bed if available to reduce warping, but PLA+ often prints well on unheated beds with proper adhesion aids. Monitor the first layers to confirm correct extrusion and bed adhesion, and adjust retraction and cooling settings to reduce stringing and improve detail.
For best results, print at moderate speeds with active part cooling for detailed surfaces, calibrate extrusion multiplier to ensure dimensional accuracy, and store the spool in a dry environment. Adjust retraction and temperature settings to minimize stringing while maintaining good layer adhesion.
