eSun PLA+ 1.75 mm White is a 1 kg spool of polylactic acid plus (PLA+) filament for FDM/FFF 3D printers. Based on PLA, this modified material is formulated to print easily while offering improved toughness and better layer adhesion compared with standard PLA. It produces smooth surfaces and is suitable for conceptual models, rapid prototyping and functional parts that require higher impact resistance. PLA+ is an environment-friendly thermoplastic and the filament stated here is compatible with printers that accept 1.75 mm filament.
PLA+ combines good strength, rigidity and enhanced toughness to reduce brittleness and increase impact resistance. The material is easy to print, yields smooth printed surfaces and supports higher printing speeds. Its balanced mechanical properties make it suitable for parts that need improved durability compared with standard PLA. The filament is intended for general compatibility with any brand accepting 1.75 mm filament.
PLA+ improves toughness over standard PLA but is not as heat-resistant as engineering plastics such as ABS or PETG; it may deform under sustained high temperatures. For parts requiring very high chemical resistance, extreme mechanical loads, or prolonged outdoor exposure, consider alternative materials.
Load the 1.75 mm filament spool into a compatible FDM/FFF 3D printer and set printing parameters according to your printer and nozzle. Start with typical PLA settings and adjust nozzle temperature, print speed and retraction to optimise surface quality and layer adhesion. Ensure the build surface is prepared for good first-layer adhesion and store the filament in a dry place to avoid moisture absorption.
