Lead-acid rechargeable battery europower EP4.5-6 6V 4.5Ah
The europower EP4.5-6 is a maintenance-free, sealed lead-acid rechargeable battery with a nominal voltage of 6V and a rated capacity of 4.5Ah. Engineered for small standby power and portable applications, this compact battery fits into confined spaces and replaces compatible sealed 6V units. Its sealed construction reduces the need for periodic maintenance and allows safe indoor installation in enclosures for alarm panels, emergency lighting modules and small uninterruptible power supplies (UPS).
The europower EP4.5-6 offers a compact footprint and a stable voltage output suitable for long-term float and cyclic service. Its sealed, maintenance-free design minimizes electrolyte leakage and eliminates the need for topping up. The battery delivers predictable discharge characteristics and is compatible with common sealed lead-acid chargers and charging regimes used for standby and cyclic applications.
Install the battery in the device according to the equipment manufacturer’s polarity markings, ensuring correct terminal connections and secure mounting. For long service life in standby applications, connect the battery to a compatible float charger that provides regulated voltage and limited current. For cyclic use, follow the charger manufacturer’s recommended charge and discharge rates. Store and operate the battery within the temperature range recommended by the device manufacturer and avoid deep discharges whenever possible to extend service life.
Use a charger compatible with sealed lead-acid batteries and follow the recommended float and cycle charging voltages. Regularly check system connections for corrosion or looseness, and replace the battery once capacity falls below the level required for reliable backup operation.
