everActive PR44 Zn-Air Size 675 Battery 1.45V 6 Pack

The everActive PR44 Zn-Air Size 675 Battery 1.45V 6 Pack is a reliable power solution specifically engineered to meet the demanding energy requirements of modern hearing aids and related sound amplification devices. Utilizing advanced zinc-air technology, these cells deliver a stable voltage output and consistent performance throughout their operating lifespan. Each blister pack contains six individual size 675 batteries, ensuring you have a convenient backup supply ready when needed. Designed with standard physical dimensions, these power cells integrate seamlessly into compatible devices without requiring adjustments.

Advantages

The zinc-air chemistry employed in these batteries allows them to utilize ambient air as a reactant, which translates into a high energy density and extended operational duration compared to standard alkaline alternatives of similar size. Users benefit from a flat discharge curve that maintains steady voltage levels, helping to prevent sudden device shutdowns or audio distortion during use. The inclusion of six units per pack offers practical value and reduces the frequency of replacement purchases. Furthermore, the reliable construction minimizes the risk of leakage during normal operation and storage when handled correctly.

Suitable for

• Digital and analog behind-the-ear hearing aids
• In-the-ear sound amplification devices
• Other specialized medical and assistive listening equipment requiring size 675 cells

When it may not be suitable

These batteries are not designed for high-drain electronic devices such as digital cameras, flashlights, or remote controls, as their chemistry requires continuous airflow and operates differently from standard cylindrical cells. They are also unsuitable for devices utilizing different battery sizes or chemical compositions, such as silver-oxide or lithium coin cells.

Key specifications

• Battery type: Zinc-Air
• Size designation: PR44, 675
• Nominal voltage: 1.45V
• Diameter: 11.6 mm
• Height: 5.4 mm
• Packaging quantity: 6 pieces per blister pack

How to use

To prepare the battery for use, peel off the protective sealing tab from the positive side of the cell. This step allows ambient air to enter the internal components and activate the chemical reaction. Wait approximately one to two minutes after removing the tab before inserting the battery into the device compartment to ensure proper activation and optimal initial voltage levels. Ensure the polarity matches the indicator markings inside the device before closing the battery door. Once activated, zinc-air batteries cannot be deactivated by reapplying the tab.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your device specifically requires size 675 zinc-air batteries
• Check the expiration date and packaging integrity before opening
• Consider the typical monthly consumption of your device to determine the required pack quantity

Usage recommendations: Store unopened blister packs in a cool, dry place at room temperature away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not remove the protective tab until you are ready to use the battery, as airflow initiates continuous discharge. Keep unused and spent cells out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidental ingestion.
