Plastic Japanese Putty Knives Expert+ set — 4 pcs: 50, 75, 100, 120 mm
Set of four Expert+ plastic Japanese-style putty knives with blade widths of 50, 75, 100 and 120 mm. These lightweight plastic blades are designed for applying and smoothing fillers, putties and adhesives, scraping and finishing surfaces where metal blades may cause damage or corrosion. The set combines narrow and wide profiles to cover detailed repair work as well as broader smoothing and finishing tasks in interior finishing and drywall preparation.
The plastic construction ensures corrosion resistance and avoids metal marking on delicate surfaces. Variety of blade widths provides flexibility for precise joints and larger surface coverage. Japanese-style thin-profile blades offer improved control and easier feathering of fillers. Ergonomic handles enable steady pressure and reduce hand fatigue during repetitive tasks.
Select the blade width appropriate to the task: narrower blades for joints and tight spots, wider blades for smoothing larger areas. Scoop a small amount of filler or putty onto the blade edge, apply with steady pressure and spread the material evenly. Hold the blade at a low angle for feathering and finish passes, and increase angle slightly for scraping tasks. Clean the blades after use with water or mild detergent before the material dries to maintain performance.
For best results, use the 50 mm and 75 mm blades for detailed repairs and corner work, and the 100 mm and 120 mm blades for large surfaces and final smoothing. Avoid using the plastic blades with highly abrasive materials or at excessive force to prevent premature wear. Store dry and away from direct heat to preserve blade shape and handle integrity.
