Diamond Hole Saw Expert+ 6 mm, M14 shank, max 12,000 rpm, 1 piece
Diamond Hole Saw Expert+ 6 mm with an M14 threaded shank is a single-piece cutting tool designed for making precise small-diameter holes in hard materials. The tool accepts a maximum rotational speed of 12,000 rpm and is intended for use with angle grinders and compatible rotary tools fitted with M14 arbors. The diamond-grit edge provides abrasive cutting action suitable for materials where conventional HSS or carbide bits are ineffective.
The diamond grit cutting edge ensures consistent abrasion and longer life when working on ceramics, porcelain, glass, natural stone and hard composites. Its 6 mm diameter offers control for precise pilot holes and fine-detail drilling. The M14 threaded shank provides secure attachment to angle grinders and many rotary tools, minimizing runout and vibration when properly mounted. Supplied as one piece, the tool is compact and easy to store.
Fit the M14 shank securely into the tool’s arbor according to the grinder or rotary tool manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring the tool is powered off and unplugged during installation. Mark the drilling point on the workpiece, stabilize the part, and start the tool at low speed to establish the initial contact. Apply steady, moderate pressure and maintain a perpendicular angle to the surface to avoid deflection. Use intermittent drilling and, where applicable, cooling or water lubrication to reduce heat build-up and prolong the tool’s life.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye protection, gloves and respiratory protection when dust is generated. When drilling brittle or fragile materials, secure the workpiece and consider backing material to reduce chipping. Observe the tool and machine maximum speed ratings and allow the bit to cool between prolonged operations.
