Diamond Hole Saw Expert+ EXPERT 8 mm, hex shank, max 3200 rpm, 1 piece
Diamond Hole Saw Expert+ EXPERT 8 mm with a hex shank is a single-piece drilling accessory designed for creating precise 8 mm holes in hard, brittle materials. The tool is intended for use with standard hex-shank chucks and compatible impact drivers or cordless drills that can operate up to the specified maximum speed. Its diamond cutting edge enables controlled penetration into ceramic, tile, glass and natural stone surfaces for plumbing, tiling and glasswork tasks.
The diamond cutting rim provides consistent cutting performance and extended wear life when used correctly. The 8 mm diameter delivers accurate hole sizes for fittings and fixtures, while the hex shank ensures secure grip and quick bit changes in hex-compatible chucks. A maximum rated speed of 3200 rpm helps maintain efficient drilling without overheating when appropriate cooling and feed rates are applied.
Secure the diamond hole saw in a compatible hex-shank chuck or impact driver. Mark the drilling point on the workpiece and, where possible, support fragile materials to prevent vibration. Start drilling at low speed to establish the initial contact, then increase speed up to the rated maximum while applying steady, moderate pressure. For tiles, glass and stone, use water or a coolant to reduce heat and prolong tool life; periodically lift the bit to clear debris and allow cooling. After completing the hole, inspect the edge and remove any residual dust or slurry.
Use steady feed and avoid excessive side pressure to prevent chipping. For best results on brittle materials, clamp or support the workpiece, keep the drill perpendicular to the surface, and use water cooling during operation. Check that the drill or driver can safely operate at or below 3200 rpm before use.
