VGA R/L to HDMI converter extra digital CA911493
VGA R/L to HDMI converter extra digital CA911493
This extra digital CA911493 VGA R/L to HDMI converter combines an analog VGA video signal and stereo R/L audio into a single digital HDMI output. It accepts a VGA input plus left/right audio and converts the signals to HDMI, allowing legacy computers, laptops or other VGA sources to connect to modern HDMI displays, TVs or capture devices. The device is powered via Micro-USB and includes an LED indicator to show when the unit is receiving power or an active signal.
The converter supports TMDS-to-VGA conversion in the reverse direction described in some devices and preserves audio/video synchronization by embedding analog R/L audio into the HDMI output. It accepts VGA video and R/L analog audio inputs and outputs a single HDMI signal compatible with most HDMI displays. The unit is easy to install, has no signal loss under supported conditions, can work with HDMI input cable lengths up to 10 m when using AWG26 HDMI cable, and is powered by a standard Micro-USB cable.
Connect the VGA video cable from your source to the converter's VGA input and plug the left and right audio cables into the R/L audio inputs. Connect an HDMI cable from the converter's HDMI output to your HDMI display or capture device. Attach a Micro-USB cable to the converter and a suitable power source to power the unit; the red LED will light when the device is powered or detecting a signal. Switch on the source device and select the HDMI input on your display to view the converted signal.
Use a high-quality AWG26 HDMI cable for runs up to 10 m to maintain signal integrity. Ensure the source device outputs a compatible VGA resolution supported by your HDMI display to avoid display scaling issues.
