It allows one HDMI device (DVD player, A/V receiver, set-top box or other HDMI source) to be split easily to four HDMI-compatible monitors or projectors and can also be used at the end of a long HDMI cable to regenerate the signal. The splitter supports resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz and complies with HDMI 1.4b specifications.
