SATA to USB Type-C HDD cable extra digital HC380114 5 Gbps data transfer
SATA to USB Type-C HDD cable by extra digital, model HC380114, enables connection of 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives to computers with USB Type-C ports. The cable supports USB 3.1 interface and provides up to 5 Gbps data transfer, allowing direct access to internal hard drives for data transfer, backups and cloning without requiring an enclosure.
The cable supports USB 3.1 Type-C connection and compatible transfer rates up to 5 Gbps for fast file access. It works with both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA drives, enabling direct connection without installing drives into an enclosure. The design is compact and portable, suitable for technicians and home users who need straightforward access to internal HDDs and SSDs. Broad OS compatibility includes Windows, macOS and Linux.
Connect the SATA connector to the 2.5" or 3.5" drive’s SATA data and power ports as required, then plug the USB Type-C connector into a computer’s Type-C port. For 3.5" drives that require external power, ensure the drive receives adequate power before use. The operating system should detect the drive automatically; use disk management tools to mount, format or clone as needed.
Use on a stable, non-conductive surface and handle the drive carefully to avoid shocks. For large-capacity or older 3.5" drives, use an appropriate external power source if the cable does not supply sufficient power. Safely eject the drive from the OS before disconnecting to avoid data corruption.
