Product information

Description

The Extralink 6001 Cable Management Panel Black Steel is a reliable cable organizer designed to help efficiently organize and route cables in server racks, cabinets, or office setups. Built from durable steel with a black finish, this accessory is ideal for maintaining a neat, professional workspace and preventing cable clutter in standard networking environments.

Advantages

Constructed from high-quality steel, the Extralink 6001 cable management panel ensures long-lasting durability and stability in demanding server room environments. Its thoughtful design features five metal supports that allow easy cable entry, enabling technicians to route patchcords connecting individual network components such as switches or patch panels safely and effectively. By keeping cables securely arranged, it improves overall airflow within the rack and reduces strain on connector ports.

Suitable for

Server racks and cabinets
Office network setups
Routing copper and fiber optic cables
Managing patchcords between switches and patch panels

When it may not be suitable

This cable management panel may not be suitable for non-standard rack sizes that do not accommodate 19-inch equipment. Additionally, it is not designed to support heavy freestanding power strips or equipment weight, as its primary function is strictly limited to cable organization.

Key specifications

Type: Cable management panel
Housing material: Steel
Product color: Black
Rack mounting size: 19 inches
Rack height: 1U
Arrangement: Horizontal
Equipped with 5 metal supports

How to use

The panel is designed for standard 19-inch rack installations and occupies 1U of rack space. It is mounted directly to the rack rails using standard hardware. Once installed, technicians can route horizontal cables from one side of the rack to the other or aesthetically organize patchcords emerging from active device ports. Both copper and fiber optic cables can be integrated smoothly through the five metal supports.

What to consider before purchase

Verify that your server rack or cabinet supports 19-inch equipment and has 1U of available space
Check whether your cabling setup requires horizontal routing and metal support loops
Ensure compatibility with your existing copper or fiber optic patchcords

Usage recommendations: Install the Extralink 6001 cable management panel directly above or below active network hardware to minimize cable bending radius and maintain optimal airflow and accessibility in your server rack.
