Designed to balance performance, security and cost-efficiency, the AP3000-WW integrates dual 2x2:2 radios, Multi-Band filtering, integrated Bluetooth Low Energy and flexible universal hardware that supports multiple software personas via ExtremeCloud IQ for centralized provisioning and management.

How to use

Mount the AP3000-WW in the chosen location and connect power via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or an appropriate power injector. On initial boot the access point will contact ExtremeCloud IQ and automatically receive its preprovisioned persona and configuration if available. Use ExtremeCloud IQ (cloud or on‑premises) to select or change the operating persona (IQ Engine or WiNG), configure SSIDs, security policies (including WPA3), radio bands and power/channel regulatory profiles. For BLE-based services, enable and configure beaconing or API integrations for guest engagement and IoT device connectivity.

Usage recommendations

For dense or mission-critical environments, place AP3000-WW units to ensure overlapping coverage without excessive channel overlap; rely on ExtremeCloud IQ for automated channel/power assignment and monitoring, and enable WPA3 and Fabric Attach where available to maximize security and automated provisioning.
