Faber 112.0067.944 Charcoal Filter for Cooker Hoods
The Faber 112.0067.944 charcoal filter is a high-performance replacement component specifically engineered for select Faber cooker hoods, including the Value, Intra, and Inca Smart H models. This filter is designed for use in recirculating ventilation systems, where it plays a critical role in maintaining indoor air quality by capturing grease particles and neutralizing unpleasant cooking odors before the air is recirculated back into the kitchen environment.
This charcoal filter provides superior filtration efficiency, ensuring that your kitchen remains free from lingering cooking smells and airborne grease. By effectively trapping impurities, it helps protect the internal components of your cooker hood from buildup, which can extend the lifespan of the appliance. The filter is designed for a precise fit, ensuring easy installation and optimal airflow performance, which is essential for maintaining a clean and hygienic cooking space.
This filter is not suitable for cooker hoods that are ducted to the outside, as it is specifically designed for recirculating mode. It is also not compatible with Faber models that require a different filter shape or mounting mechanism, so please verify your hood model before purchase.
To install the filter, first ensure that the cooker hood is switched off and disconnected from the power supply. Remove the grease filter to access the filter housing. Align the charcoal filter with the motor intake and secure it according to the locking mechanism specific to your hood model. Once installed, replace the grease filter and reconnect the power. The filter should be replaced periodically, typically every 3 to 6 months depending on cooking frequency, to maintain peak performance.
For the best results, replace the charcoal filter at least twice a year or more frequently if you cook with high oil content or for extended periods daily. Always clean the primary grease filter regularly to prevent premature saturation of the charcoal filter.
