Facom multifunction trigger sheath-stripper is a handheld tool with a 167 mm overall length designed to remove insulation and outer sheaths from round cables with diameters from 4 mm to 28 mm. The Facom 872271PB combines a spring-loaded trigger, a self-pivoting blade and metal jaws to provide controlled stripping and cutting for electrical, automotive and industrial wiring tasks.

Advantages

The spring-loaded trigger reduces effort by about 30% while a self-swivelling blade speeds sheath removal and helps avoid damage to conductors. A blade advance adjustment wheel and a spare auto-pivot blade facilitate repeatable results and on-site maintenance. How to use

Place the round cable into the stripper’s jaws at the desired strip point and squeeze the spring-loaded trigger to engage the self-pivoting blade. Use the blade advance adjustment wheel to set the cutting depth so only the insulation is removed. Withdraw the tool along the cable or let the self-swivelling blade rotate to remove the sheath.
