Tap Wrench FANAR T-type for taps M14–M20, 110 mm (V0-330000-1420)
FANAR T-type tap wrench for taps M14–M20, 110 mm is a manual tool designed to hold and turn hand taps when cutting or repairing internal metric threads. The compact 110 mm length and transverse T-handle provide direct control over torque and feed during tapping operations. Constructed for general workshop and maintenance use, this tap wrench accommodates a range of tap sizes from M14 to M20, enabling reliable clamping and stable rotation of hand taps in metalworking and repair tasks.
The T-handle design allows even distribution of manual torque and improved grip when starting or backing out a tap. Its adjustable collet securely clamps taps in the specified size range, helping to reduce slippage and misalignment. The 110 mm overall length keeps the tool compact for use in tighter spaces while still offering sufficient leverage for controlled tapping. Materials and finish are selected for workshop durability and repeated manual use.
Select a tap within the M14–M20 range and insert its shank into the collet, then tighten the clamping mechanism to secure the tap. Position the tap square to the hole and apply steady manual torque using the T-handle, advancing the tap a half-turn to full-turn at a time and reversing periodically to break chips. Maintain alignment throughout the operation to avoid cross-threading. After cutting threads, reverse the tap fully and release the clamping mechanism to remove the tap from the wrench.
Use appropriate cutting fluid for the material being tapped, choose the correct tap type and size for the thread, and keep the tool and tap clean to extend service life. For harder materials or deep threads, use incremental tapping with chip clearing intervals to reduce tool stress.
