Monopod Fancier Monopod 171cm up to 4 kg, model SB2139
The Fancier Monopod SB2139 is a lightweight single-leg support designed to stabilize cameras and small video rigs. Extending up to 171 cm and rated for loads up to 4 kg, this monopod provides a balance between portability and practical support for stills and video shooting. Its compact design and quick setup make it suitable for travel, outdoor fieldwork and situations where a full tripod would be impractical.
The monopod combines low weight with sufficient height to improve image sharpness and enable smoother pans during handheld-like manoeuvres. Its straightforward locking system allows fast extension and collapse for quick repositioning. Designed for compatibility with many camera setups, it simplifies on-the-go stabilization without adding significant bulk to camera bags.
This monopod is not intended for heavy professional camera rigs or long-duration studio shoots that require full three-point stability. With a maximum load capacity of 4 kg, it may not reliably support large telephoto lenses or heavy camera-plus-accessory combinations. For situations demanding maximum vibration isolation or full lateral support, a tripod or gimbal would be more appropriate.
Extend the sections to the required working height and secure the locking mechanisms before mounting your camera. Attach your camera using the monopod head or plate compatible with standard camera mounts, then adjust height and angle to achieve the desired framing. When panning, hold the monopod near the top and use slow, controlled movements for smoother footage. Collapse and lock the sections for transport, and store in a bag to protect the joints and finish.
Use the monopod on level ground and combine with proper hand positioning to maximize stability. For heavier setups near the load limit, test balance and movement before important shoots and consider complementing the monopod with straps or a quick-release head rated for your camera weight.
