IP Phone Fanvil H2U V2 Black 2 Lines Wired Wireless Handset
IP Phone Fanvil H2U V2 Black 2 Lines Wired Wireless Handset
The Fanvil H2U V2 Black is an IP phone designed for small offices, hotel rooms and home use. This model supports two SIP lines, both wired and wireless handset operation, and a range of common voice codecs. The phone offers 100 Mbps Ethernet connectivity with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, DTMF mode compatibility and hardware volume controls. Its compact, black chassis and straightforward feature set make it suitable for environments that require reliable voice communication with simple installation and central management.
The Fanvil H2U V2 provides dual-line support in a compact form factor, combining wired and wireless handset options to adapt to different usage scenarios. Built-in PoE simplifies deployment by reducing cabling and power outlet requirements. The device is compatible with mainstream IP-PBX, softswitch and IMS platforms, enabling quick integration into existing VoIP infrastructures. Physical volume buttons and support for multiple DTMF modes help ensure predictable call control and interoperability with telephony systems.
Connect the Fanvil H2U V2 to a network switch or router using a standard Ethernet cable; if PoE is available, the device will receive power through the network cable and no separate power adapter is required. Register up to two SIP accounts on your IP-PBX or service provider using the web management interface, configure network settings as needed (DHCP or static IP), and set DTMF and codec preferences to match your telephony platform. Use the wired or wireless handset to make and receive calls and adjust call volume with the physical buttons during a call.
For best results, deploy the phone on a managed network with Quality of Service (QoS) enabled to prioritise voice traffic. Ensure firmware is kept up to date via the vendor update mechanism and configure security settings such as strong SIP credentials and TLS/SRTP if your platform supports them. Use PoE when available to simplify power management and reduce cable clutter.
