Extension for 3/4" Drive Socket, faster tools, 100 mm, CR-V
Extension for 3/4" Drive Socket by faster tools is a 100 mm long socket extension made from chrome-vanadium (CR-V) steel. It links a 3/4" drive ratchet to sockets to reach recessed or awkwardly positioned fasteners while maintaining reliable torque transfer. The tool is intended for professional and home mechanical tasks, automotive repairs and general equipment maintenance where extra reach and a sturdy connection are needed.
The CR-V steel construction provides a balance of strength and wear resistance appropriate for frequent use. At 100 mm length the extension offers added reach without excessive leverage that can risk fastener damage. A standard 3/4" drive interface ensures compatibility with common sockets and ratchets used in heavy-duty and automotive applications. The simple, solid design facilitates dependable torque transfer and straightforward handling during tightening and loosening operations.
This 3/4" drive, 100 mm CR-V extension is not intended for precision torque-critical applications where a torque-limiting device or calibrated wrench is required. It may not be appropriate when extreme leverage is needed; in such cases a longer extension or breaker bar designed for higher forces would be preferable. Do not use the extension with impact tools unless explicitly rated for impact use.
Attach the extension to the square drive of a compatible 3/4" ratchet or handle until it clicks or seats securely. Fit the required socket onto the opposite end of the extension. Use the ratchet to turn the fastener, taking care to maintain alignment to avoid rounding the square drives. Remove the extension by pulling the socket off and disengaging from the ratchet when work is complete.
For routine mechanical and automotive tasks use the extension with a correctly sized ratchet and sockets, apply steady controlled force, and avoid sudden jerks. Store the extension in a dry toolbox to prevent corrosion and inspect connection points regularly for wear before use.
