Sealant Gun (Frame) faster tools 06-2-0100 for cartridges and sausages, manual caulking applicator
The faster tools Sealant Gun (Frame) 06-2-0100 is a manual caulking applicator designed to dispense sealants and adhesives from both standard cartridges and sausage (bulk) packs. Its open-frame construction provides stable support for tubes while the trigger-driven push rod allows for controlled extrusion of construction silicone, glazing sealants and various adhesives used in sealing and bonding applications.
This frame-style sealant gun offers a simple, robust design that is easy to operate and maintain. The trigger mechanism provides consistent pressure for smoother bead application, while the lightweight frame construction reduces hand fatigue during repetitive use. Compatibility with cartridges and sausages ensures flexibility on-site, and the manual operation requires no power source or batteries, making it suitable for both workshop and fieldwork.
This manual sealant gun is not intended for frequently repeated, high-volume industrial production where pneumatic or heavy-duty battery-operated applicators deliver higher throughput. Extremely viscous materials that require very high extrusion force may exceed the manual trigger capacity, impacting bead consistency and user fatigue.
Load a standard cartridge or cut open a sausage pack and insert it into the frame according to the product orientation. Fit the nozzle or dispensing tip and puncture the cartridge seal if required. Squeeze the trigger steadily to extrude the sealant, maintaining consistent speed to produce an even bead. Release the trigger to stop extrusion and use the built-in rod release or thumb catch to retract the push rod when replacing or removing the cartridge. Clean residual material from the nozzle and frame after use to prevent curing inside the tool.
For best results, use the gun with sealants and adhesives within the manufacturer-recommended temperature range, apply steady pressure for a uniform bead, and keep the nozzle clean between applications. For high-volume or very viscous materials consider a pneumatic or battery-operated applicator.
