Bit for Phillips/Pozidriv screwdrivers FELO PZ 1, 100 mm (FL03101810)
Replacement bit for Phillips/Pozidriv screwdrivers FELO PZ 1, 100 mm length. This hardened PZ 1 bit is designed to engage Pozidriv (PZ) cross-head screws reliably and provide extended reach for tasks where a standard bit is too short. The slender 100 mm shaft fits common bit holders, magnetic bit holders and multi-bit screwdrivers to support assembly, maintenance and repair work in woodworking, electronics and general fastening applications.
The bit is manufactured from hardened steel to provide improved wear resistance and maintain tip geometry under repeated use. Its PZ 1 profile offers accurate seating in Pozidriv screws to reduce cam-out and slippage. The 100 mm length increases accessibility into recessed or deep-set screw locations while remaining compatible with standard bit holders and quick-change adapters.
Insert the 1/4" hex shank of the bit into a compatible bit holder, magnetic holder or multi-bit screwdriver. Engage the bit with the Pozidriv screw ensuring full seating of the PZ 1 tip in the screw recess before applying torque. Use controlled, steady force to avoid stripping the screw head and, when working in confined or deep locations, maintain alignment between driver and screw to maximize contact and minimize cam-out.
Choose the PZ 1 bit for screws with Pozidriv geometry rather than Phillips heads; verify correct fit before applying high torque. Keep the bit clean and inspect the tip for wear; replace the bit when tip deformation or rounding is visible to prevent screw damage. Use appropriate torque settings on powered drivers and consider a low-torque or manual approach for delicate assemblies.
