Abrasive sheet Festool 201260 P120 chromium oxide 230×280 mm 10 pcs
Festool 201260 abrasive sheets, grit P120, are manual sandpaper sheets made with chromium(III) oxide (corundum) abrasive. Each sheet measures 230 × 280 mm and the pack contains 10 pieces. These sheets are intended for hand sanding and small correction tasks on wood, painted surfaces, fillers and similar materials where medium grit is required to smooth surfaces and prepare them for finishing.
The corundum abrasive ensures a consistently high material removal rate on both old and new clear coats, VOC (water-based) coatings, alkyd paints, filler and wood. A flexible latex-backed paper prevents splitting and reduces the risk of surface damage during use, while the synthetic resin bond secures the grit for long tool life even under heavy use. The sheet format provides pinpoint accuracy for reworking defects such as paint runs or dust inclusions.
Select the P120 sheet and cut or fit it to the required size if necessary. Use the abrasive by hand with steady, even strokes, applying moderate pressure. Work across the defect or surface area until the desired smoothness is achieved, checking progress frequently. For edges and profiles, fold or trim the sheet to reach narrow areas. After sanding, remove dust and inspect the surface before proceeding to finer grit sanding or finishing.
Use in well-ventilated areas and wear appropriate personal protection such as dust mask and eye protection. Start with P120 for medium material removal and switch to finer grit for final finishing. Avoid excessive pressure to prevent uneven sanding and premature wear of the sheet.
