Voltage Relay FF CP-730 with Time Lock, 10 A, for 4x400 V+N
FF CP-730 is a voltage relay with an integrated time lock designed to monitor supply voltage on four phases plus neutral (4x400 V+N). Rated for 10 A, this device detects overvoltage and undervoltage conditions across the monitored conductors and provides a programmable delay before reconnecting the load. The unit is intended for installation in distribution panels where phase sequence monitoring, loss-of-phase detection and timed reconnection help prevent equipment damage and nuisance trips caused by transient events.
The relay combines continuous multi-phase voltage monitoring with an adjustable time lock to avoid repeated switching during short disturbances. Compact design allows panel mounting in standard enclosures, while the 10 A switching capacity suits auxiliary circuits, contactors and protection of control circuits. Clear functional behavior—voltage threshold detection plus time-delayed enable—reduces mechanical and electrical stress on downstream equipment and simplifies coordination with existing protection devices.
Install the relay in the distribution panel following local wiring rules and ensure all four phase conductors and neutral are correctly connected to the designated terminals. Set the appropriate voltage thresholds and time delay according to the protected equipment's tolerance to supply variations. After wiring and parameter selection, energize the supply; the relay will continuously monitor voltage levels and engage the time lock when thresholds are exceeded, preventing immediate reconnection until the set delay elapses and normal voltage is restored.
Verify compatibility of the relay's switching capacity and voltage thresholds with downstream devices. Use the time lock to coordinate reconnection with motor starters or contactors, and perform periodic inspections of connections and settings as part of preventive maintenance.
