Time Relay FF PCS-519 12V 2P 8A 0.1s–576h Multifunctional (12V AC/DC)
The FF Time Relay PCS-519 12V is a multifunctional 2-pole timing device designed for control and automation tasks that require accurate, adjustable delays and cyclic operation. It accepts a 12 V AC/DC supply and provides a switching capacity of up to 8 A, with selectable time ranges spanning from 0.1 seconds to 576 hours. The relay supports a variety of timing modes, enabling timed on/off sequences, delay-on, delay-off and repeat cycle functions for use in lighting control, motor protection, sequence control and other timed operations in both industrial and residential installations.
This compact time relay combines wide time-range flexibility with a simple control interface and reliable 8 A contact rating suitable for many low-voltage automation circuits. Its ability to operate on both AC and DC 12 V supplies adds installation versatility. The device’s two-pole switching minimizes wiring complexity for dual-circuit control and contributes to safer, more predictable timing behavior. The range from fractions of a second to several days allows deployment in fast sequences as well as long-duration hold and delay tasks.
Install the relay in the control cabinet or on the DIN rail following electrical safety rules and the manufacturer’s wiring diagram. Connect the 12 V AC or DC supply to the designated input terminals and wire the load through the two switching poles. Select the desired timing mode and set the time interval using the front-panel selector or adjustment control according to the required application. After configuration, apply power and test the timing behavior with the intended load, making minor adjustments to the preset time if needed to achieve the correct sequence.
For reliable operation, use the relay within its rated current and voltage limits and avoid inductive loads without appropriate suppression. Where motors, solenoids or other inductive devices are switched, fit suitable surge protection or RC snubbers to protect contacts and extend service life. Periodically verify timing accuracy and contact condition as part of routine maintenance in critical systems.
