FF signal converter continuous-to-pulse PSI-02 230V AC 2Z 8A
FF signal converter continuous-to-pulse PSI-02 230V AC 2Z 8A
FF PSI-02 230V AC is a continuous-to-pulse signal converter designed to translate an analog continuous input into pulse outputs for use in control panels and automation systems. The device is intended for 230V AC supply and provides two changeover contacts, enabling pulse signalling in relay logic and other control circuits. The compact converter integrates with standard electrical installations to enable monitoring, counting and timed-control functions where a pulse representation of a continuous signal is required.
The converter provides reliable conversion from continuous to pulse form while operating from a 230V AC mains supply. Two changeover contacts rated at 8 A allow switching of standard control circuits without additional relays. The unit’s behavior is deterministic and suitable for integration in existing relay logic and automation panels. Its design simplifies retrofit and new-install applications by offering a direct pulse output from analog inputs.
Mount the FF PSI-02 in the control cabinet according to local electrical standards and ensure a stable 230V AC supply. Connect the analog continuous input to the designated input terminals following the manufacturer wiring diagram. Wire the two changeover contact outputs to the target counters, PLC digital inputs or relay logic circuits. Verify contact polarity and ratings before switching live circuits. After wiring, perform functional tests by applying known input levels and confirming corresponding pulse outputs and contact operation.
Use appropriate overcurrent protection and isolation when integrating the converter into mains-powered control systems. For reliable pulse detection, configure the receiving device to accept the pulse duration and frequency range produced by the converter. Regularly inspect connections and contact wear in applications with frequent switching.
