Filament Fiberlogy FiberSatin Pearl 1.75 mm 0.85 kg — perlmutt, satinierte PETG-/PLA-kompatible Faser
Fiberlogy FiberSatin Pearl is a decorative 3D printing filament on a 1.75 mm spool with a net weight of 0.85 kg and a pearlescent satin surface. Developed for use with standard FDM desktop printers, this filament is compatible with PLA and PETG printing conditions and is intended to produce glossy, satin-like appearances on printed parts. The material is suitable for visible model elements where a pearly sheen and smooth surface texture are desired; achieving the intended finish requires following recommended extrusion settings for the base material and adjusting print speed and cooling to emphasize the pearl effect.
FiberSatin Pearl delivers a satin, perlmutt-like finish that reduces the need for post-processing to obtain an attractive surface. The filament is available in 1.75 mm diameter, supplied on a 0.85 kg spool suitable for many desktop FDM machines. It is formulated to be compatible with common PLA and PETG printing parameters, enabling familiar extrusion temperatures and feeds while providing a decorative appearance. The satin surface reflects light softly, enhancing visible details without strong glare.
Load the 1.75 mm FiberSatin Pearl filament into a standard desktop FDM printer and set extrusion temperature according to the base material (PLA or PETG) you are using. Start with the manufacturer-recommended temperature range for that material, then fine-tune temperature, print speed and cooling to balance surface gloss and layer adhesion. Slower print speeds and controlled cooling typically help emphasize the pearlescent satin effect; monitor first layers for proper adhesion and calibrate retraction to reduce stringing.
To obtain the best pearlescent satin finish, test a small calibration print first: use typical PLA/PETG extrusion temperatures, reduce print speed compared with matte filaments, and moderate cooling to allow surface smoothing while preventing overheating. Store the filament in a dry environment to maintain print quality.
