How to use

Install the filament on a spool holder that allows smooth unwinding and route it through a filament guide if available. Use a direct-drive or a well-tuned Bowden setup with low-friction PTFE tubing and a flexible-filament compatible extruder. Start with conservative print settings for TPU: moderate nozzle temperature appropriate for the printer and TPU grade, reduced print speed, increased retraction distance and slower retraction speed to minimise stringing. Ensure good first-layer adhesion by adjusting bed temperature, nozzle height and use of a suitable build surface or adhesive aid. After printing, allow parts to cool before removing them from the build plate to preserve geometry.

Usage recommendations

For reliable feeding and print quality, use a direct-drive extruder or upgrade the filament path in a Bowden system. Calibrate extrusion multiplier and retraction settings on sample prints, and test layer cooling and print speed in incremental changes. Store the filament in a dry, cool place or sealed with desiccant to prevent moisture uptake, which can affect surface finish and printability.
