Filament spool Fiberlogy Refill PCTG 1.75 mm 0.75 kg — Black
Fiberlogy Refill PCTG 1.75 mm 0.75 kg — Black is a glycol-modified copolyester filament designed for FDM/FFF 3D printing. Supplied on a 0.75 kg refill spool in black and specified for 1.75 mm extrusion systems, this PCTG material combines increased toughness and good chemical resistance with reliable layer adhesion, making it suitable for functional and mechanical prints as well as everyday objects.
This PCTG filament offers balanced mechanical properties with increased impact resistance compared to basic PETG while retaining ease of printing. The glycol modification improves transparency control and reduces crystallisation, yielding stable extrusion and consistent layer bonding. The 1.75 mm diameter ensures compatibility with a wide range of hobbyist and professional FDM/FFF printers, and the refill spool format helps reduce packaging waste.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into the extruder of an FDM/FFF printer following the printer manufacturer’s instructions. Use standard PCTG/PETG print settings as a starting point: set nozzle temperature and bed temperature according to the printer and hotend capability, adjust retraction and cooling to minimise stringing, and print a small test object to fine-tune flow rate and layer adhesion. Store the refill spool in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant when not in use to maintain filament quality.
Begin with moderate nozzle temperatures and calibrate extrusion multiplier and bed adhesion before longer prints. For mechanical parts, consider increasing perimeters and infill density to achieve required strength. Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures or aggressive solvents to preserve mechanical properties.
