3D printing filament Fiberlogy PCTG+CF 1.75 mm 0.75 kg — Black
Fiberlogy PCTG+CF 1.75 mm is a composite 3D printing filament with carbon-fiber reinforcement supplied on a 0.75 kg spool. Intended for FDM/FFF printers that accept 1.75 mm filament, this material combines the chemical resistance and impact performance of PCTG with increased stiffness and dimensional stability provided by carbon fibers. The black color and reinforced structure make it suitable for functional prototypes, mechanical parts and components where improved rigidity and wear resistance are required.
The carbon-fiber filled PCTG offers higher tensile stiffness and reduced warping compared with standard PCTG, while retaining good layer adhesion and chemical resistance. Its reinforced structure improves dimensional stability for accurate parts and better performance under mechanical load. The 0.75 kg spool provides a practical quantity for small production runs, prototypes and testing.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into an FDM/FFF printer configured for reinforced thermoplastics. Start with manufacturer-recommended nozzle and bed temperatures for PCTG-type materials and adjust upward if necessary to improve flow because of the carbon fibers. Use a hardened or wear-resistant nozzle to avoid excessive nozzle wear. Ensure good part adhesion by using a suitable build surface or adhesive, and enable appropriate cooling and print speed settings to balance layer bonding and detail. Post-processing can include light sanding or sealing if a smoother surface finish is required.
For optimal results, print with a hardened steel or ruby nozzle, set moderate print speeds, and verify extrusion calibration before long prints. Store the spool in a dry, low-humidity environment to preserve filament quality.
