Filament Fiberlogy Easy PLA 1.75 mm 0.85 kg — Fiberlogy Granite
Fiberlogy Easy PLA 1.75 mm 0.85 kg — Granite is a general-purpose PLA filament designed for desktop FDM/FFF 3D printers that accept 1.75 mm filament. Supplied on a 0.85 kg spool, this material combines the printability typical of PLA with improved layer adhesion and dimensional stability, making it suitable for prototypes, hobby models and small functional parts. The Granite color provides a speckled or stone-like appearance useful where a textured or subdued finish is desired.
Easy PLA is formulated for straightforward, reliable printing with minimal warping and good interlayer bonding. The filament feeds smoothly on most direct-drive and Bowden extruders and allows for consistent extrusion at typical PLA temperatures. Its dimensional stability helps maintain part tolerances, while the Granite color and finish reduce the need for post-processing when a natural stone-like look is acceptable.
Load the filament into your 3D printer according to the manufacturer instructions for 1.75 mm filament. Use standard PLA print settings as a starting point: typical nozzle temperatures range from 190–220 °C and bed temperatures from 20–60 °C depending on your printer and adhesion method. Calibrate extrusion multiplier and retraction settings to reduce stringing and optimize surface finish. Print at moderate speeds for best layer adhesion and dimensional accuracy.
Store the filament in a dry environment away from direct sunlight and high humidity. If the filament absorbs moisture, dry it before printing to avoid surface defects and poor layer adhesion. For improved first-layer adhesion, use a clean build surface, adhesive aids if needed, and adjust bed leveling. Avoid exposing printed parts to sustained high temperatures, as PLA has limited heat resistance compared with engineering plastics.
