3D printing filament Fiberlogy Impact PLA 1.75 mm 0.85 kg — Black
Fiberlogy Impact PLA 1.75 mm 0.85 kg — Black is a PLA-grade 3D printing filament formulated to provide improved impact resistance and mechanical toughness compared with standard PLA. Offered on a 0.85 kg spool with a 1.75 mm diameter, this black filament is compatible with most FDM/FFF desktop 3D printers and is intended for users who require easier printing combined with stronger printed parts for prototyping, functional components and hobby models.
This Impact PLA balances printability and durability: it prints at similar settings to conventional PLA while delivering higher resistance to shocks and minor bending. The material exhibits reliable layer adhesion and dimensional stability, reducing the risk of delamination in everyday use. Its 1.75 mm diameter ensures consistent filament feeding on standard extruders, and the 0.85 kg spool provides a practical supply without excessive bulk.
Load the filament onto the spool holder so that it feeds smoothly into the extruder. Preheat the printer to PLA-appropriate temperatures (consult your printer and nozzle specifications) and purge previous material from the hotend before printing. Use standard PLA print settings as a starting point: typical nozzle temperatures between 190–220 °C and a heated bed set to 20–60 °C if available. Adjust print speed, cooling and retraction settings to suit your printer and model geometry to achieve optimal layer bonding and surface finish.
For best results, print at moderate speeds and ensure adequate part cooling for detailed features. If parts require increased strength, consider higher infill percentages, thicker walls or altered print orientation to align layers with load directions. Store the filament in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to preserve print quality.
