How to use

Determine the filter thread size of your lens (often indicated on the inside of the lens cap or in the lens manual). If your lens has a smaller thread than 86 mm, obtain the appropriate adapter ring for that diameter. Install the geared 86→86 adapter onto the holder, attach the selected adapter ring to the geared adapter, and then mount the assembled holder to the lens. Finally, insert the 82 mm threaded filter into the geared adapter and rotate the control to position the filter precisely.

Usage recommendations

Check that all connections are securely tightened before use to avoid movement during exposure. When using graduated or polarizing filters, make small incremental rotations to achieve the desired effect and verify that the filter does not introduce vignetting on wide-angle lenses.
