The Fischer Hammerfix N-S with countersunk head is a preassembled screw and nylon plug kit designed for fast hammerset installation. The nylon sleeve and zinc-plated nail screw are combined for through-type installation: the plug is led through the component and, when the nail screw is driven in, the sleeve expands to anchor securely in the base material. The Hammerfix N-S is intended for internal use and is suitable for fixing timber constructions in a variety of building materials.

Advantages

Pre-fitted plug and nail screw allow fast, series hammerset installation. The integrated hammer-in stop prevents premature spreading of the sleeve during driving, ensuring secure anchoring. How to use

Drill a 5 mm hole to the minimum depth of 25 mm in the base material. Insert the preassembled Hammerfix N-S through the fixture into the drill hole so the nylon sleeve passes through the component. Set the nail screw by striking the head with a hammer until the sleeve expands and anchors in the material. If required, the nail screw can later be removed using a screwdriver in the cross-slot recess.

Usage recommendations

Use in dry, internal conditions as specified. Select the appropriate drill diameter and depth, ensure the component is properly positioned before driving the nail screw, and avoid using the fixing in unsupported hollow or cracked substrates without prior suitability checks.
