Fischer 58530 is a high-quality sanitary silicone sealant in silver-grey, supplied in a 310 ml cartridge. It is formulated for sealing corner, movement and connection joints in sanitary and kitchen areas and provides permanent elasticity and reliable adhesion on smooth substrates. The product contains fungicide and offers a wide temperature resistance from -40 °C to +180 °C, making it suitable for applications that require durability and flexibility.

Advantages

The one-component silicone-acetate formulation allows for easy application and smoothing and supports efficient work. With 25% elasticity and outstanding movement capacity, the sealant is suitable for high-stress expansion joints and provides long-lasting jointing. The very good adhesion on smooth surfaces prevents moisture penetration into the substrate and ensures reliable function. High abrasion resistance combined with long-term mold protection preserves the surface during cleaning and contributes to durable seals.

How to use

Ensure joint surfaces are clean, dry and free of grease. Cut the cartridge nozzle to the required bead size and apply the sealant evenly into the joint using a suitable gun. Smooth the joint within the skin formation time (approx. 10 minutes) to achieve the desired finish. Allow the sealant to cure under recommended conditions; full properties develop after complete curing.

Usage recommendations

Do not apply at substrate or ambient temperatures below +5 °C or above +40 °C. Although compatible with paint in some cases, the silicone-acetate sealant is generally not paintable; test compatibility first if painting over is required. Avoid contact with materials that are not suitable for silicone-acetate products and follow ventilation and safety instructions when using indoors.
