The fischer Hammerfix N-P with mushroom head is a pre-assembled hammer-in fixing that combines a high-quality nylon plug and a zinc-plated steel nail screw. Supplied in a kit of 100 pieces (6 x 40 mm), it is designed for through-type installation: the plug is pushed through the component and when the nail screw is driven in the sleeve expands to anchor securely in the substrate. Drill a hole with the recommended 6 mm drill bit through both the component and into the base material. Insert the pre-assembled Hammerfix N-P through the component so the mushroom head sits flush. Use a hammer to drive the nail screw fully into the plug until the integrated hammer-in stop engages and the sleeve expands to anchor in the substrate. For dismounting, unscrew the nail screw using a screwdriver to allow removal.
