The fischer Hammerfix N 6 x 40/10 S with countersunk head is a nylon hammer fixing pre-assembled with a zinc-plated nail screw for quick hammerset installation. Designed for through-type installation, the fixing sleeve expands when the nail screw is driven in and anchors securely in solid building materials. This product is intended for internal use and is suitable for fixing timber constructions and other components in a variety of substrates.

Advantages

Pre-fitted nylon plug and zinc-plated nail screw enable fast series installation with a hammerset. An integrated hammer-in stop prevents premature spreading of the anchor during installation. The nail screw can be later removed using the cross-slot (Pozidriv) recess, and the countersunk head provides a flush finish when installed.

Drill a 6 mm diameter hole to the required depth (minimum 55 mm) in the substrate. Insert the pre-assembled Hammerfix N through the fixture and push it into the drilled hole. Use a hammer to drive the nail screw until the fixing sleeve expands and the countersunk head sits flush with the component surface. If necessary, the nail screw can later be removed using a Pozidriv screwdriver.
